Psychoenergetics
Psychoenergetics is based on Kundalini
breathing (breath of fire).
The exercises are designed to promote
flexibility, to strengthen the body, and to increase your breathing
capacity. Stimulation of blood flow, lymph circulation, and cerebrospinal
fluid is important in psychoenergetics.
Energy developed and freed up during
the sessions is utilized by short sessions of self-hypnosis at the end.

An integral system of special
exercises designed to increase strength flexibility, breathing capacity and
promote emotional release.
Most traditional exercises only
increase physical strength. Yoga and some dance exercises are designed to
increase flexibility, but not necessarily strength.
Few exercises are designed to release
emotional tensions which are precursors to many physical tension.
Psychoenergetics exercises overcome
these shortcomings or traditional exercise programs, blending yoga, powerful
breathing, free movement and dance into a unified whole.
Most exercise programs are
mind-controlled and therefore ay build in certain habitual movement patterns
and rigid postures. Some of the psychoenergetics sessions are given over to
movement which is initiated spontaneously by the body. When this is allowed
to happen the body will create its own free movements that naturally and
effortlessly release tensions and generate energy.
Psychoenergetics sessions end with a
brief meditation, using GSR biofeedback instruments.
There are 52 illustrated 4x6 cards
in the deck, each one has a special three minute exercise designed to help
you increase your breathing rate, strength, will power, and flexibility.
Some of these are pretty difficult -- not for beginners!
